BECOME A FOUNDER
Founders are the individuals, families, and organizations who help make our first-ever permanent practice and storage facility possible. This is a one-year campaign that will never again be repeated.
Behind every glowing puppet, performance, and prop, is a very real challenge we currently face:
We don’t have a home.
For the past year, our team has met in borrowed rooms inside of doors generously opened by a local church, and have stored decades of handcrafted puppets, props, and equipment in multiple full storage locations.
We’ve made it work… but it’s not a long-term solution and is currently holding us back. But now, we have a rare chance to change our future forever.
The Opportunity
Generous donors have come forward and opened the door for VR to build a permanent, dedicated practice and storage space. A simple climate controlled post-frame structure that will allow us to rehearse consistently, protect our handmade assets, involve more youth, and strengthen this program for decades to come.
We have a limited window to secure materials at the current price, begin the build, and position ourselves for upcoming grant opportunities. Every month matters. This campaign allows us to move quickly, responsibly, and with real momentum.
A donor has offered to match all gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $35,000 through 2026, and another donor has offered us a long-term land lease. We are ready to move forward but we need your help to keep the momentum going!
Every dollar you give this year gives us double spending power.
We have just one year to raise the funds needed to make this happen. Our props and art are facing degradation while our volunteers are currently hurdling weekly logistical feats to organize rehearsals.
